Obituary for Mrs. Marie Janet Boesche (Woroniuk)
Mrs. Marie Janet Boesche (nee Woroniuk), age 65 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family.
As her own family was growing, Marie wanted to help make a difference in her community. As one of the original volunteer members, she was integral in establishing the West Thunder Community Centre. After it was built, she was honored to manage the Centre for the next 20 years.
Marie enjoyed spending time with her family and travelling. Road trips for Maine lobster, Germany or Spain to visit her sons, Vegas and Phoenix for golf, or weeks at a time with her family camping and fishing, Marie enjoyed the journey as much as the destination.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dany, three sons, Jesse, Jeremy and Ryan, grandson Mason, mother Francis, sisters, brother and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones. She was predeceased by her father, John Woroniuk and sister Lynn Woroniuk.
Interment will take place in Mountainview Cemetery on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 11:00am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Oliver Road Community Centre beginning at 12:30pm.
Should friends so desire, donations made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
